World Heart Health Day (Today)

“Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer,”
Job 11:13

”A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)

Being happy, content, kind, loving and at peace is good for you, your mind and body. Being angry, anxious, vengeful, worrisome, fearful and hateful hurts you and your body. Be Joyful .

“My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways,” Proverbs 23:26

“The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18

“For the life of every creature is its blood: its blood is its life.” (Leviticus 17:14)

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23

God loves you.

Well and good, heart is not just a physical organ, but a spiritual source of love and truth. A spiritually-based heart naturally seeks to love others. Divine love, not human effort, is the governing principle. By cultivating a “spiritual understanding” of why we are meant to love brings genuine wholeness, true peace and stability to the heart.
