JESUS HAD TO RISE FROM THE DEAD…
IT WAS PROPHESIED
A SAVIOR WOULD BE SENT:
”Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.“
Isaiah 7:14 NIV
(Immanuel — God with us)
GOOD FRIDAY — After living his life without sin, Jesus made the payment for sin.
EASTER SUNDAY — Jesus became the Firstborn from the dead unto eternal life and the light and hope of all men… those destined to die once, and then face the judgment.
The Bible tells us about the Godhead, the three distinct persons comprising One God. Many have problems with this fact, but it is what Jesus taught and what the writers of the Bible affirmed.
ALL THREE EXISTED BEFORE CREATION BEGAN:
All three knew beforehand the choices Satan, Adam and Eve would make before any of them were created. All three agreed on the plan of salvation.
FATHER, SON AND SPIRIT TOOK PART IN THE CREATION PROCESS:
”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.“
Genesis 1:1-2 NIV
”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.“
John 1:1-3 NIV
”Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”“
Genesis 1:26 NIV
ALL THREE PLAY A PART IN THE SALVATION OF HUMANITY:
”For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.“
Romans 8:29 NIV
”God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.“
2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV
”“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”“
1 Peter 2:22 NIV
JESUS HAD TO RISE FROM THE DEAD...
”The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”“
John 10:17-18 NIV

Greg’s journey into serious Bible reading and study began when his wife Jane, told him about a local men’s Bible Study Fellowship group. He discovered daily time in God’s word was absolutely necessary to living a practical Christian life. He committed this daily discipline drawing him into a closer fellowship with the Lord. Through the Holy Spirit, and much prayer, Greg began presenting the gospel on LinkedIn. His mission is to encourage Christians to read the Bible and learn for themselves the truth of God’s word. Greg and his wife Jane, are empty nesters residing in Sterling Heights, Michigan. They have two married children, Emily and Jordan, and one grandson Jack (Emily). You can find a variety of articles by Greg on Linkedin.

He willingly knew what He was to do, beseeched His Father to take away the cup that He was about to partake of )who of us WOULDN’T?) but then willingly chose to suffer death for our sake, and then ROSE on Easter. ALLELUIA!
