Truth Seekers
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB)
I have always been a curious individual, seeking knowledge but more importantly seeking truth – His Truth. One such time was when I went on pilgrimage to Holy Island in Northumbria, in need of a rest from life and to further seek a closer connection with my God – The Truth.
Life gives us many tags based on our ethnicity, nationality and even beliefs. Over the years the tag of “Christian” has been used and invariably abused in many ways, which requires one to closely define it in conversations. Another one I inherited from my Brethren church roots is “Believer“, which also needs defining in conversation. Thus in the last couple of days the Lord layed on my heart a title I like: “Truth Seeker.” To me personally this is a lovely description of someone who loves and follows the Triune God in all His Holy splendour; following Him forever seeking His Truth for each day. It strikes me to be a title that would draw questions and offer opportunities to share The Truth of the Gospel.
What is truth? It is a trustworthy rock on which you can use as a foundation for life, and a guiding light that never goes out; His Truth is unchanging from age to age.
All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth
To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Psalm 25:10 (NASB)
Dear reader, do you belong to God your Father, following Him wherever He leads you? Are you a Truth Seeker in His Word and in your prayers? Being a Truth Seeker is a lifelong calling for God’s children; thus let us proclaim the words of the Psalmist:
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 25:5 (NASB)
Truth is in the whole of our Triune God, thus we find it in all its magnificance in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us seek Him and The Truth of being saved for Eternity.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 14:6 (NASB)
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
Psalm 145:18 (NASB)

Correct, Sometimes we belittle God – not receptive to Him as Truth and Love, Romans 8:6-8 tells us; ‘………. to be spiritually minded is life and peace’
