Do you know the way, or do you just believe?

THOSE WHO THINK THEY KNOW “THE WAY”

SAY “JUST BELIEVE” AND LEAD MANY ASTRAY.

BUT WHAT DID JESUS SAY?

“If you love me, keep my commands.”
John 14:15 NIV

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
John 10:27 NIV

“Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.”
Matthew 10:38 NIV

“Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Luke 9:23 NIV

“And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.”
Luke 14:27 NIV

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
Mark 1:17 NIV

“He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.””
Luke 9:59-60 NIV

“Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.””
Luke 9:61-62 NIV

“Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.””
Matthew 19:21 NIV

There’s much more to “believing” in Jesus than what you hear from the pulpits in church and the people who attend them.

It’s about “FOLLOWING.”

Deception is rampant:

“Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.”
Matthew 24:4 NIV

You should read the Bible on your own to learn what God has revealed, the whole story.

Jesus proclaimed the truth of the scriptures:

““Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.”
Matthew 5:17-18 NIV

Pray to receive his Spirit, and read the book that contains everything God wants you to know about himself.

Believe “the Way” Jesus taught us to believe, not the way of the well intentioned who have led men and women astray with an incomplete gospel.

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 NIV

Greg’s passion for Bible study began when his wife, Janel, introduced him to a local men’s BSF group. The daily discipline of God’s Word drew him into closer fellowship with the Lord and inspired him to share Scripture-based reflections on LinkedIn. His mission is to encourage believers to study the Bible for themselves, examine their faith, and live with the assurance of eternal life in Christ. Greg and Janel live in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and enjoy time with their two married children, Emily and Jordan, and their grandson, Jack.
