What is God’s purpose for believers, to live by faith through all circumstances of life?
John 6:35:
“Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”
Ephesians 3:16:
“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.”
Romans 15:13:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
Ephesians 6:16:
“In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.”
1 Peter 1:8-9:
“Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of your souls.”
Why is faith so vital, and a prerequisite to please God?
Hebrews 11:6:
“Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
How strong and sincere is my faith in Christ, so as to please God, live by the power of the Holy Spirit and overcome the world?
What André Gourd started out as a daily message to his sons in 2019, has grown into daily messages to all who wish to receive them. While he didn’t have a clue he was to share these messages with the world, the Lord put on his heart in 2020 to do so. The purpose of his daily messages is to remind those of us who know Christ as Savior and Lord, that He is present in this world and in our lives. André desires to keep each one “Short and To The Point,” so you will take time to read them. They are NOT related to opinion. They simply “Point to Scripture.” He leaves us with a one sentence “Challenge thought” to help us live out our commitment to focus on Christ and live by His word. If you desire to read more of his scripture challenges you will find him at Christ At The Helm.

God tells Hs Children-Believers and non Believers ; “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.(Isaiah 43;1
The bible is clear that non believers aren’t saved nor redeemed and rather will not inherit the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus.
As such, the apostle John clearly said, “Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.” 2 John 1:9-11
And the words of Jesus are clear as crystal: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23
Thank you for claifying the truth here, Andre’
Thank you Andre and Andy for your responses. i may not fully understand the meaning of Non- believer and believers since English is a foreign language to me. But this was my thought. The Bible contains the word of God and when it is being read in a church or a market place or on the street, it is clear and a fact that God is speaking to us :Believers and non believers.
Another instance, a child of A pastor may be attending church services regularly but he or she is not saved. But God will always speak to him or her through the Bible in Church. I believe that The Bible was not meant only for Believers and thus why I said,; God tells His Children -…………
Your Friend- His servant,
Isaac Otieno
Indeed Isaac, the Word of God is directed to both believers and non believers.
However, redemption through salvation in Christ is only received in truly believing in Him as savior, and in so believing, the person must repent and surrender their life to follow Christ as Lord.
Unfortunately, the deception of the enemy is to make people believe they simply have to accept Jesus, which simply means to acknowledge who He is. In reality and as per His Word, He is the One accepting us in His kingdom in truly believing in Him, which implies we must also believe in every word He has given us. Then in so believing, we live to follow Christ at His Word so He becomes Lord of our life.
Thanks for your reply.
