The Gift that Keeps on Giving

God’s love for us goes far beyond what our minds can comprehend. Not only does he offer salvation through his son, Jesus, he also offers his presence through the promised gift of the Holy Spirit.

The “Blessing of Abraham” is far more than protection and provision, it is God with us, through Jesus, in the person of the Holy Spirit. This is epic in scope.

He promised he would be with us forever, that he would never leave us or forsake us. He has made good on that promise by giving us the gift of the Holy Spirit to be with us perpetually.

Give thanks for the gift of the Helper, Comforter, Counselor, Intercessor and Friend. He has given you the gift of his presence i.e. the Blessing of Abraham. Celebrate and enjoy him enjoying you today, because that’s how much he loves you. – Jimmy

He redeemed us so that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, and that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:14

Jimmy Pruitt is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. As an idealist, his words are filtered through his spirituality with the expectation that he will encourage and inspire people to “Live Up in a Down World.” He is committed to being an authentic person in all he does. Because everyone has been through something, or is currently struggling, Jimmy believes the proper response to life is humility; it is the signature of Jesus bringing forth both pain and glory. He and his way better half, Annette, have been married for30 years. Agreeing their family is amazing, placing “Fun” in dys-Fun-ctional. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren that bless their lives beyond what they could ever dream. He is currently Lead Pastor at Bridge Church Fredericksburg, TX, and has started a new podcast titled: “Living Up in a Down Word – Making Faith real for the rest of us.”
