Would We Be In Awe?

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. Matthew 2:9

As we are getting ready to see the planets line up and semi-recreate the “Star of Bethlehem” in the nights sky, it’s easy to imagine what it must have been like when our Savior was born.

To have gathered expensive gifts and to have taken such a journey to pay tribute to God in the flesh; would we have the same reaction today?

The western world has been numbed by technology and entertainment. would we recognize the signs and be awed by this today?

As we enter into the final week of Christmas, let us imagine the miracle that took place over 2,000 years ago and praise God above for loving us so deeply!

Bradley Hilton

Bradley Hilton grew up in the church and has always been a believer; it wasn’t until 2000 that he reaffirmed his faith and went all-in for Jesus. At that point his life was transformed, and he felt a nudge from God to start leading a men’s group in the church. The influence of this group led him through a regeneration process that changed his life for a more active service for God. As a result, he began to write a newsletter as a simple form of encouragement. More and more people began to request being added to his mailing list. God nudged him again to start a blog. Believing many more would be blessed by his writing he started The Daily Dose – Daily inspiration from God’s Word. Bradley is well known as a Barnabas in Christian communities on WordPress and in other venues.

Bradley and his wife, Michelle, share life together in Texas with their four children and two grandsons.
