An Easter Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, 

 As we celebrate Easter, I am thankful that YOU died on the cross and rose from the dead so I can have the gift of a personal relationship with YOU.

I pray my grandchildren will understand the true meaning of our Lord Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection.

I know how easily my grandchildren are influenced by their friends –the fashions, music, passions, and problems.

May they know and follow YOU wholeheartedly.

Place a hedge of protection around my grandchildren physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 

Help me to make the invisible God visible to my grandchildren by my example.  

Jesus’ name, Amen.
